Freight Talks! Call for Submissions
Inspired by the world-renowned TED Talks: five presenters will be selected to enlighten us on Thursday with a Freight Lighting Talk at the noon lunch session! Instead of giving a longer, in-depth presentation, each presenter will be limited to exactly five minutes. It will be a fun and challenging opportunity to share what’s going on in your “freight” world. Freight Lightning Talk topics can be on anything* – all we ask is that the topic is somehow related to Freight, and that you remember to:
- Be of Service
- Be Present
- Be Yourself (have fun!)
Additional information:
- As an extra incentive, OKI will provide each of the five (5) selected Freight Lighting Talk presenters one (1) full conference registration* to the 2024 Ohio Conference on Freight in Cleveland. If you would like to be considered for one of the five Freight Lighting talks, please click here to submit your topic, speaking experience/references, and contact information.
- Selection Criteria: Selections will be made so that conference attendees will hear about five diverse topics provided by five dynamic public speakers.
- DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSIONS is August 25, 2023.
- *Presenters that promote the use or purchase of a specific product, company or service will not be considered.
- *Presenters will not be considered that discriminate in any manner to race, color, national origin, religion, sex, age and/or disability in accordance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act.
